Attorney - Travel Industry (Airlines) - Contract Position
Job Summary: We are seeking an Attorney with experience in the travel industry to join our team for a temporary project. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in navigating the evolving landscape of the airline space, particularly in negotiating air agreements, partnership agreement, airline "point" contracts with credit cards, and general credit card / travel contracts independently. Key Responsibilities: Lead the negotiation of air agreements, moving away from reliance on former joint venture partners. Stay abreast of and implement recent Department of Transportation and California laws affecting the travel industry. Utilize change management expertise to guide the company through regulatory and policy shifts. Collaborate with partners to develop event and itinerary suggestions for Card Members post-flight/hotel booking. Qualifications: Proven experience in the travel industry, preferably within the airline sector. Familiarity with contracts law is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong background in change management and policy implementation. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
