About the position The Sales Representative role is focused on driving business development in the flexible packaging sector. This remote position requires a motivated individual with a strong sales background and a commitment to customer service, aiming to expand the company's presence across the United States. Responsibilities • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business and grow existing accounts in the flexible packaging industry. , • Identify, prospect, and engage with potential customers through various channels (cold calls, emails, industry events, etc.). , • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations. , • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their packaging requirements. , • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing clients. , • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. , • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and report on sales performance and market trends. , • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to better serve clients and adapt sales strategies. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or related industries. , • Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, processes, and industry standards is a plus. , • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. , • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. , • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized. , • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. , • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
