About the position As a Pharmacy Production Clerk at Accredo, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and on time. Accredo is a specialty pharmacy that focuses on serving patients with complex and chronic health conditions, such as cancer, hepatitis C, HIV, bleeding disorders, and multiple sclerosis. Our mission is to provide personalized care and support to these patients, and as part of our team, you will contribute to this important work. You will be part of a dynamic environment where teamwork and dedication are essential to achieving better health outcomes for our patients. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing and packing prescriptions for shipment. This includes copying, faxing, and processing prescriptions, as well as taking ownership of customer issues and ensuring 100% follow-up with patients. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are crucial, as you will be working with sensitive health information and medications. You will also need to be flexible and adaptable, as the work environment can change rapidly, and you may be required to work a rotating schedule that includes mid-shifts and varying hours. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable using technology for data entry and reference. A basic understanding of math and general computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, is required. While prior experience in a clerical role is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.
