Job Title: Senior Project Manager Company: LyondellBasell Location: Channelview, TX Job Type: Contract (Initial 6 months with potential extension up to 2-6 years) Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Start Date: February 1st Job Description: LyondellBasell is seeking a Sr Project Manager based in Channelview, TX, to oversee large-scale capital projects ($300-$400 million). The role requires significant interaction with senior stakeholders, strategic partners, and engineering companies, ensuring effective coordination and delivery on project commitments. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement project execution strategies during front-end project development. • Define project scope and budget, presenting business cases to stakeholders. • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including cost, schedule, and plant performance. • Lead a high-performing project team and collaborate with internal and external partners. • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with Project Controls and Risk Management procedures. • Represent the project to internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: • Degree: Engineering degree required. • Experience: start to finish experience in downstream oil and gas projects. • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Safety: Fire retardant clothing and steel toe safety boots required.
