Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated General Education Teacher to join our team and deliver virtual instruction to students in North Carolina. As a General Education Teacher with Vocovision, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and supporting student achievement through remote education. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students in various subjects including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state curriculum standards and individual student needs. • Utilize virtual teaching tools and platforms effectively to enhance learning experiences. • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments. • Provide timely feedback and support to students and parents. • Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (Master’s Degree preferred). • Valid North Carolina teaching license. • Prior experience in a classroom setting preferred; experience with virtual or remote instruction is a plus. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents. • Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and technology. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
