Staff Accountant – Payroll Specialist (Remote) Luna Physical Therapy is seeking a Staff Accountant – Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, tax compliance, benefits reconciliation, and key accounting functions. This role ensures accurate payroll execution while supporting financial reporting and month-end close processes. If you have 1+ years of payroll and accounting experience, proficiency in ADP and NetSuite, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, apply today! How you will have an impact • Prepare bank reconciliations and match NetSuite transactions. • Manage corporate credit card programs and reconcile transactions. • Process bi-weekly payroll, review reports, and compile GL entries. • Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with state labor laws. • Maintain time off policies in ADP. • Assist People Operations with hires, terminations, and promotions. • Support benefits enrollment and reconcile benefits invoices with payroll deductions. • Maintain state payroll tax accounts and set up new accounts as needed. • Process accounts payable, including invoices and expense reports. • Maintain supporting payroll documentation. • Implement process improvements to streamline functions. • Support year-end closing and assist with ad hoc projects. What you can offer Luna • 1+ years of experience with Accounting & AP systems (NetSuite highly preferred). • Experience with Excel and Google Suite preferred. • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required. • Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience; multi-location experience strongly preferred. • Experience within the Healthcare industry is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization (internal & external). • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment, new systems, software, and processes. $55,000 - $60,000 a year Salary commensurate on location and experience • We offer medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits, a fun collaborative work environment with a fast-growing, innovative company that is changing the face of healthcare!* Care Exceptionally
