About the position As a Sales and Service Representative at First Citizens, you will play a crucial role in our branch team, where your primary responsibility will be to process transactions and address various customer service requests. This position is not just about handling transactions; it’s about making a difference in the lives of our customers by facilitating their awareness and education regarding the bank's capabilities, tools, and resources. You will support the sales efforts of the branch team by identifying potential sales opportunities and referring them to the appropriate bank partners, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible solutions for their financial needs. In this role, you will engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their banking needs and preferences. Your ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently will be essential, as will your capacity to assist customers with their account servicing needs. You will also be responsible for educating customers about our bank services, including digital banking capabilities, and introducing them to other branch team members or bank partners who can provide additional solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, where professionalism and empathy are key to building strong relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, teamwork, flexibility, and agility. You will need to be comfortable engaging in conversations with customers, quickly learn and adapt to new information and technology, and effectively manage multiple demands while ensuring that work is completed efficiently. Your ability to process information and resolve problems swiftly will be critical to your success in this role.
