Data Analyst (Financial Planning and Analysis) - US

Tiger Analytics team is looking for a skilled and experienced Data Analyst with over 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition, or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry. Job Duties:

  • Discover, analyze, and scope data requirements & represent them in conceptual and logical data models. Ability to clearly document and communicate requirements to data engineers.
  • Gather and analyze data on various business processes such as financial planning and budgeting, forecasts, Topline, OPEX, and COGS.
  • Create high-level process models (system interface diagrams, workflow & swim lane diagrams, data flow diagrams) to represent processes for the area under analysis
  • Responsible for improving the quality of data with defined expectations
  • Perform system data analysis to identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience
  • 4+ years of experience with data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry. Profiling experience in SQL; Python/Pyspark is a plus
  • 3+ years’ work experience in the areas of Financial Planning and Analysis. Have working experience with Master Data (Product, Customer, Location etc).
  • 2+ years of strong Data Profiling experience & ability to identify trends and anomalies in the data to inform data model build out.
  • Familiarity with SAP data, IBM Planning Analytics tool is a plus
