CAD Designer/Engineer

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CAD Designer/ Engineer with expertise in designing industrial equipment and automated machinery. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD electrical, AutoCAD, SolidWorks software along with experience design industrial robotics, industrial equipment and automated machinery. Electrical or Mechanical background is required. (If you have experience in some but not all these programs, we are willing to consider based on knowledge and experience.) Key Responsibilities: • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for industrial equipment and automated machinery using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical and SolidWorks. • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for industrial control systems and panel using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical. • Continuously improve designs based on feedback and project requirements, with a focus on automation processes and functionality. • Maintain detailed documentation of all design revisions, specifications, and project progress. • Implement and maintain Auto Desk Vault document management. Qualifications: • Ability to design automated machinery and equipment for industrial use. • Ability to design control panel assemblies and schematics. • Ability to work with both electrical and mechanical engineering teams. • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment. Skill and Attributes: • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting for automation machinery. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with automation systems and machines. • Must work well in a team or alone as well as be self-motivated.
