Claims Adjuster

In this role, you will be expected to be accurate, thorough, and have excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a claims-related role and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also possess a well-developed knowledge of claims processing and medical terminology. Responsibilities: Evaluate and process claims in accordance with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's regulations and procedures. Maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness when reviewing and processing claims. Provide excellent customer service to claimants and other external parties. Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex claims issues. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of claims processing and medical terminology. Stay up-to-date on changes to company regulations and procedures. Assist in training new claims adjusters. Maintain detailed records of each claim.
