Full Stack Java Developer (Azure & SharePoint Migration)

Responsibilities: • Redevelop legacy application components following modern coding standards and best practices. • Build complex GUI interfaces with rich data elements, including advanced grid editing and validation. • Develop backend and workflow services to support UI and business logic requirements. • Integrate with SharePoint libraries and other document storage/archive systems. • Implement workflows using Power Automate or custom automation solutions. • Redevelop batch processes for rule and footnote filing automation (e.g., ATPCO). • Design and build persistence layers using SQL or NoSQL databases. • Achieve 75%+ unit test coverage and create a regression test suite covering 100% of defined use cases. • Conduct performance tuning, and execute UAT, concurrency, and stress testing. • Run the new application in parallel with legacy tools, troubleshooting any issues. • Provide on-call support and resolve security vulnerabilities as they are identified. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration and automated deployment. • Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. • Create operational dashboards to monitor system health, audit logs, and cloud cost metrics. • Work in a fully Agile environment, participating in daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint ceremonies. • Utilize Dev, Stage, Cert, and PROD environments for development, integration, UAT, and production deployments. Technical Skills: • 5+ years of full-stack development experience in Agile/test-driven environments. • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services. • Proficiency in Angular, React, and JavaScript for front-end development. • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. • Minimum 2 years of development on Azure Cloud using compute, container, integration, and database services. • Experience with SharePoint integration and Power Automate workflows. • Minimum 1 year of experience with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, Dynatrace, etc.). • Experience with service endpoint testing tools and regression testing frameworks. • Preferred/Bonus Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience with CICD pipelines and automated deployment tools. • Understanding of infrastructure design for HA/DR. • Familiarity with tools like vMix, OBS, or video editing platforms is a plus. • Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities. • Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
