We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring product excellence through both manual and automated testing. Position Overview: We are looking for a versatile QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation using C# and Playwright. This role will focus on designing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases while also contributing to our growing suite of automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of our applications. Key Responsibilities: • Manual Testing: • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and user stories. • Perform exploratory, regression, and smoke testing to identify defects and ensure product quality. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Designers to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage. • Accurately document bugs and issues, ensuring clear communication with the development team. • Automated Testing (Roadmap): • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Playwright. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure they run reliably across environments. • Analyze and troubleshoot failures in automation scripts and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. • Continuously improve automation frameworks and best practices. • Quality Advocacy: • Be a proactive advocate for quality within the development team. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute a QA perspective. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve testing strategies and workflows. • Project & Issue Tracking: • Utilize JIRA to manage test cases, log defects, and track the progress of testing activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within JIRA to ensure clear communication and documentation of issues and user stories. • Generate reports and metrics in JIRA to help track quality trends and test coverage. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of professional QA experience in both manual and automated testing environments. • Strong experience writing and executing test plans and test cases. • Proficiency in C# for writing and maintaining automated test scripts. • Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). • Experience using JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and Agile workflows. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). • Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices. • Familiarity with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestSharp). • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools is a plus. • Experience working in environments using microservices architecture.
