About the position As a Dental Assistant at Lone Star Pediatric Dentistry and Braces, you will be instrumental in fostering healthy dental habits in children and contributing to their lifelong smiles. This role involves working closely with a dedicated team to provide quality care in a pediatric dental setting, ensuring a positive experience for both children and their families. Responsibilities • Assist the dentist during procedures and examinations. , • Perform sealant and coronal polishing as needed. , • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. , • Travel between assigned offices as required. , • Attend and participate in office meetings and continuing education events. , • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. , • Radiography certification according to state regulations. , • Experience in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired. , • Pediatric dental assisting experience preferred. Nice-to-haves • N2O Certification preferred. , • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. , • Customer service orientation with a pleasant demeanor. , • Effective written and verbal communication skills. , • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
