About the position DeBoard Homes & Remodeling, a well-established residential construction company, is seeking a dedicated Construction Helper to join our team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will assist in various construction tasks, including new builds and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well with others. You will be expected to contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role requires reliable transportation and a current driver's license, as you will be commuting to multiple job sites in the Gladewater, TX area. The working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule for our employees. We value teamwork and are looking for someone who is eager to grow within the construction field and contribute positively to our projects. Responsibilities • Assist in various construction tasks including new builds and remodeling projects. , • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. , • Use hand tools and construction equipment effectively and safely. , • Follow instructions from supervisors and lead workers. , • Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed. Requirements • 2 years of construction experience required. , • Current driver's license is mandatory. , • Reliable transportation to commute to multiple job sites. , • Experience in landscape maintenance and construction painting is a plus.
