Product Manager – Hardware

What You'll Do: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of new features and services for our hardware platform. This role is key to defining and driving the product vision, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and support teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Product Manager for Hardware will translate business strategies into actionable product plans, roadmaps, and user stories, ensuring successful product launches and operational rollouts. • Product Roadmap Ownership: Define and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer support. • Feature Prioritization: Scope, prioritize, and refine features based on business value, customer needs, and technical constraints. Ensure clear definition of minimum viable product (MVP) requirements and dependencies. • User Journey Development: Create and optimize user journeys based on target user personas, ensuring a seamless user experience. • Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog, supporting continuous integration and delivery practices. • Market & User Research: Conduct internal and external research to gather feedback, understand user needs, and identify market opportunities. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams-engineering, sales, quality assurance, and operations-to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives. • OKRs & KPIs: Define product objectives and key results (OKRs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and its impact on business outcomes. • Training & Launch Support: Create the product documentation, training materials, and assets to support successful product launches. What You'll Need: • Industry Experience: Strong technical background with experience in the smart home, security, or related technology industries. • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred. • Experience: 2+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a proven track record of successful product development. • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and business data to inform product decisions. • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects with a high degree of efficiency and attention to detail. • Documentation & Reporting: Excellent documentation skills and experience in creating detailed product reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders. • Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and keep commitments under pressure. Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this role is $64,000.00 - $128,000.00 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays. Anticipated application end date will be on 12/31/2024.
