The role is responsible for providing cross functional support in the Mortgage Servicing department. What You'll Do • Set up new loans in the FICS servicing system • Handle property tax/insurance policy issues and provide service to members' questions regarding their property tax or insurance policy • Track and log legal documents related to mortgage processing • Prepare and image documents for record retention • Provide requested payoffs to members, loan officers, and other lenders • Review account information with members and requests corrections as necessary • Process legal documents when mortgage is paid in full • Perform other duties as assigned • The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience • High school diploma or GED • Previous customer/member service Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience • College degree in relevant field or equivalent relevant industry experience • Previous experience handling mortgages • Previous banking or Credit Union experience • Experience with Episys Skills, Licenses & Certifications • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and capacity for attention to detail • Ability to effectively work with people of varying backgrounds and levels and securing inter- and intra-departmental and external cooperation • Ability to demonstrate above average interpersonal and communications skills & professional demeanor • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance • Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What You'll Get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: • Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
