Job Description: Warehouse Coordinator Position Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator is accountable for supervising the warehouse operations in the retail stores. They must lead warehouse specialists, forklift operators, and order pickers while supporting the Receiving Warehouse Coordinator in scheduling daily freight based on inventory levels and customer demands. Warehouse Coordinator Major Duties: • Schedule the tasks of warehouse personnel each day to expedite the shipping and receiving operations. • Ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly by directing daily activities that include managing shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control. • Effective product staging involves maintaining accurate records of each item's location and ensuring that they are ready for shipment according to customer specifications. • Ensure the reliable performance of your warehouse equipment through consistent preventive maintenance and repair. • Warehouse safety is essential for the well-being and productivity of workers, and OSHA regulations must be followed to achieve this goal. • Providing instruction on the correct methods for executing key tasks is imperative for ensuring consistent quality. • Offer support and advice to employees who are experiencing personal or work-related problems. • Encourage cross-functional collaboration among different units to improve warehouse productivity. • The activity reports generated by our team will assist management in making informed decisions based on accurate and up-to-date data. • Maintain a record of the flow of paperwork from Receiving to the Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the process is seamless. • Addressing Disagreements in Shipping, Invoices, Packing Slips, and Receiver Reports. • Apply the Acquiring Storage Inspection Plan. • Empower your inventory management with the help of stage products for counting and inspection. • Keeping products in the right storage environment and avoiding stockpiling can help maintain inventory freshness. • Comply with the management's instructions to perform supplementary duties. Warehouse Coordinator Professional Background: • The perfect candidate will have one to three years of experience in leading and managing teams in a warehouse or distribution center. • Demonstrated proficiency in establishing lasting professional connections, constructing successful teams, distributing tasks, and overseeing progress and follow-up. • Being competent at collaborating productively with teams from various departments. • Proficient in communicating ideas through both oral and written methods. • Proficient in basic math computations. • Equipped with the necessary skill set to competently operate computer systems running on the Windows platform. • Being able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and accomplish deadlines punctually. • Enthusiasm for working extended shifts during peak seasons. PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS • The employee will need to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move items with a weight that can go up to 60 pounds and frequently handle objects weighing around 20-30 pounds. • Aptitude in using refined movements and touch sensation to work with various items. • Tasks such as reaching, crawling, and crouching often happen unconsciously.
