Cyber Security Analyst - IT

About the position The Cyber Analyst position at Constellation involves providing technical expertise to support the delivery and maintenance of IT Cyber Security and Network solutions. This role is designed for either entry-level or mid-level candidates and focuses on testing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions under the guidance of senior analysts. The position emphasizes collaboration with business and IT partners, innovation in cybersecurity practices, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Responsibilities ? Perform, document, and assist in planning work activities related to small projects or process improvements. , ? Enhance, maintain, or support existing IT products and processes to meet defined service level agreements. , ? Analyze requirements, design, build, and test IT software solutions for projects and sub-projects. , ? Maintain engagement with business and IT partners. , ? Assist less experienced personnel in their development. , ? Drive innovation by analyzing trends and issues to create new business opportunities. , ? Provide on-call support after normal business hours. Requirements ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. , ? 0 to 2 years related experience for Entry Level or 2 to 5 years for Mid-Level. , ? Ability to solve problems using procedures and guidelines. , ? Strong communication skills, able to convey technical information in non-technical terms. , ? Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities. , ? Basic understanding of Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Windows / Linux). , ? Basic understanding of computer networking concepts and protocols. , ? Basic understanding of cyber security practices and strategies. Nice-to-haves ? Working knowledge of cyber security program elements such as Policy Development and Incident Response. , ? Working knowledge of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions. , ?
