Machinery Engineer

We are seeking a Machinery Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our rotating equipment at our Cherokee, AL facility. You will provide engineering support, drive reliability improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance our plant operations.Location : Cherokee, AlabamaKey Responsibilities : Provide expertise in compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers to ensure optimal performance.Implement and sustain best practices for rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.Develop and maintain equipment specifications that align with industry and company standards.Analyze equipment performance data to proactively seek reliability improvements.Lead efforts in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other reliability-focused initiatives.Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, including vendor management.Support plant operations during startups, shutdowns, and any process upsets.Provide training and technical guidance to mechanical and operations personnel.Qualifications : Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering.5 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment in a plant environment.Strong knowledge of Industry Standards (API, ASME, PIP, etc.).Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Why Join Us?Be part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in the chemical industry.Enjoy a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Work in a supportive and community-focused environment in Cherokee, AL.
