Part-Time Elementary Tutor

Firefly Tutors is hiring a CORE SUBJECT Tutor for elementary school students! This is a year-round position for the 24/25 school year and beyond! IN-HOME/IN-PERSON tutors ONLY Elementary school core subject (math, ELA, science, social studies) tutor needed in Costa Mesa, CA 92627 and surrounding areas (IN-PERSON TUTOR ONLY) TUTOR MUST BE AVAILABLE to provide in-person tutoring throughout the week Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: ? Bachelor's degree or above ? Engaging, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor ? Versed in core subject (math, ELA, science, social studies) concepts and instruction for elementary school students ? At least 1-2 years of experience working with students Responsibilities ? Provide one on one tutoring sessions to students of varying ages and skill levels in mathematics, English language arts, science, and social studies. ? Implement tailored lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs. ? Manage session dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment. ? Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. ? Collaborate with parents and educators to ensure comprehensive support for each student. ?
