Job Description
Summary Under the general guidance of the Director of Finance, perform all duties to supervise the goods purchasing & receiving function ensuring that controls are applied in accordance with policies and procedures, state and local laws, and regulations, and, at all times, to keep the best interest of the Company in mind with regards to cost effective operations. Job Description ? Order all products for the hotel through online purchasing system ? Process and receive purchase orders ? Check incoming products against the order form to prevent accepting items that were not ordered, receiving partial or no deliveries of required product, receiving items of unacceptable quality, or paying a price higher than agreed upon ? Check incoming products against standard purchase specifications ? Check incoming products against delivery notes, all products to be weighed or counted to ensure correct quantity delivered ? Check delivery note prices against the order?s price quotes and to raise credit request for any variances or shortages ? Ensure all products are secured immediately ? Assist with and analyze the monthly stock takes ? Maintain all paperwork and archiving both accurately and efficiently ? Ensure the security of the information held within the department ? Respond to customer (internal & external, supplier and guest) requests, inquires and problems in a quick efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and a quality service ? Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participate in task forces and committees as requested Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range
