Job Summary As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions related to sound and vibration control in various environments. You will work closely with clients to assess their acoustic needs and develop strategies to optimize acoustics in buildings, spaces, or products. Responsibilities • Conduct acoustic assessments and measurements to identify noise sources and levels • Design and implement soundproofing solutions to minimize noise transmission • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored acoustic recommendations • Utilize tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Arduino for data analysis and system design • Draft reports detailing findings, recommendations, and implementation plans • Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to address acoustical challenges • Employ logic controllers for noise control applications • Utilize Quantum engineering concepts for advanced acoustic projects Skills • Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and modeling • Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the impact of structures on sound transmission • Experience with Arduino for developing acoustic monitoring systems • Familiarity with Simulink for simulation and modeling purposes • Ability to design mechanical solutions for noise reduction • Knowledge of logic controllers for implementing sound control strategies Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
