Job title: MIS Analyst in Clinton, NC at Sampson Regional Medical Center Company: Sampson Regional Medical Center Job description: Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a MIS Analyst to join the Management Information System and Informatics team!Description:Analysts will serve as the central contact for applications used within the hospital. Applications include but are not limited to Meditech, Redoc, Mach 7, McKesson and eMDs. Will be responsible for implementation, training and upgrades. Application Analysts will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of user requested reports. The Application analyst is responsible for the successful project management of implementation, support and maintenance of systems within their purview. This position will operate as the single point of contact for any issues with project time-lines related to their area of expertise. The position requires interaction with end users (Physicians, Radiologists, Nurses, and other Hospital Departments) and SRMC's third party vendors. The MIS Analyst must develop relationships and communication channels to ensure status feedback and cooperation among these groups and will ensure that all services are performed professionally, delivering complete customer satisfaction. The MIS Analyst handles day-to-day operation of their designated systems including work-flow and availability of the applications. Provides communication to impacted areas regarding Go lives, upgrades, template changes, work-flow changes with the affected areas. Analyst will resolve help desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent discipline is desired, but not required. Equivalent experience and knowledge is completely acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-year exposure to the healthcare industry or applicable area of concentration required.
  • Firm knowledge of information systems and system analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report troubleshooting ability.
