  • Own and drive the product strategy for Amazon Shipping API integration platform in collaboration with Tech, Shipper/ Integrator, and Marketing teams, focusing on externalization and bundling of APIs.
  • Guide the development and implementation of the roadmap for next-generation API products, ensuring a user-centric approach in creating API portals, an API catalog, and streamlining the API onboarding experience.
  • Drive the development of next-generation generative AI capabilities for both internal and external stakeholders. Leverage GenAI to simplify onboarding, feature adoption and to enhance Shipper experience in API development/ validation, debugging, and support
  • Define and implement solutions for API scalability, performance monitoring, and ensuring robust system performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the API and generative AI landscape, informing product development and strategy.
  • Define and track key metrics for API adoption, AI solution effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, establishing baseline metrics for continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilities
  • Drive product vision and strategy for external systems integrations in conjunction with Integrations and Partnership teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and addressing customer needs.
  • Develop and execute the roadmap for AI-powered features that support both internal teams and external customers, establishing measurable outcomes to track the success of initiatives.
  • Gather and synthesize customer requirements through direct engagement with shippers and third-party integrators, employing methods such as surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception through launch and post-launch optimization, incorporating continuous feedback for iterative improvements based on user experiences.
  • Communicate product progress and strategy updates to stakeholders regularly, gathering feedback and aligning priorities across teams.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to identify opportunities for applying generative AI to solve integration challenges
  • Partner with commercial teams to drive adoption of both API and AI solutions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field - 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focusing on API products - Experience with AI/ML products, preferably including generative AI applications - Technical understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns - Track record of successfully launching and scaling technical products - Experience with developer platforms and developer experience (DX) design - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field - Experience with logistics and shipping industry - Experience with iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) - Deep understanding of generative AI technologies and their practical applications - Experience with developer documentation and technical content creation - Understanding of international markets and region-specific integration requirements - Experience with API monetization and business model developmentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.
