Our Cross-markets team works with personal lines insurance carriers to provide tools and solutions to help better understand the market and manage risk. This team supports both the Personal and Commercial Lines market, giving them a unique view of risk and a deep understanding of the P&C market.About the Role The Sr. Sales Manager role exists to provide leadership and direction to a team of newer sales professionals as they learn the Account Management role and how to deliver best in class customer care to the customers in their market. The Sr. Sales Manager will focus on the continued development of their team with a lens on new sales revenue by expanding the use of our solutions with existing customers and onboarding new prospects.You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Creating an environment where Account Managers can provide excellent customer service by effectively managing customer objections, setting realistic expectations, successfully negotiating pricing and contracts and closing sales.
  • Crafting growth strategies to help Account Managers evaluate existing relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships at all levels.
  • Acting as liaison between internal teams and our customers to provide excellent service and solutions.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of select Insurance products and solutions to effectively present them to customers and articulate the value.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, leading team pipeline reviews and deal coaching sessions to help create a standard protocol for the team.
Qualifications:
  • Possess proven ability to sell complex products to new customer prospects.
  • Bachelor’s in business or equivalent sales experience.
  • 7+ years demonstrated successful sales experience in solutions-oriented sales environments. Personal or commercial lines insurance experience required.
  • 5+ years prior management experience. Prior experience managing outside sales team.
  • Possess prior experience mentoring, coaching, and managing performance.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication, prioritization and presentation skills.
