As an Education Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds. Here's what you'll be doing: Craft and deliver educational instruction tailored to the needs of your students, employing the most effective methodologies... Conduct assessments rooted in research to gauge student progress accurately, providing constructive feedback and necessary re-teaching to ensure mastery of objectives. Stay abreast of developments in your subject area by conducting research and engaging with professional literature. Foster open communication with parents/guardians and fellow educators to support student growth. Implement the approved curriculum while remaining flexible to accommodate modifications as required. Collaborate with colleagues and other school staff to fulfill your responsibilities effectively. Prepare written reports and manage administrative tasks associated with your role. Employ preventive discipline strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Demonstrate alignment Non-Profit Six Measures of Excellence throughout your work. Serve as a role model for positive character virtues and habits, assisting students in developing essential moral and performance attributes. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in the relevant field. Licenses & Certifications: Possess state certification and endorsement in the assigned area. Experience: Pre-service experience required for certification. Knowledge, Ability & Skills Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams. Exhibit strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Understand various student learning styles and pedagogical theories. Familiarity with federal and state educational regulations and statutes. Maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations. Foster cooperative and constructive relationships in a multicultural environment with staff, students, and parents. Proficiency in basic computer applications including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics.
