Accountant

In Person Or Remote Full Time Or Part Time... Flexible Schedule Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards - Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes - Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions -Maintain Company Taxes -Oversee Bookkeeper Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - CPA certification preferred - Proven experience in securities law, public accounting, or corporate finance - Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices - Proficient in financial report writing and analysis - Experience with Xero or other accounting software systems - Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Solid understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping Skills: - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team.
