They have an immediate need for a highly experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join a New Jersey based group (this role is 100% remote). The Senior Scrum Master/Agile Coach, is responsible for ensuring that Scrum practices and processes are adhered to. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between the Product Owner and the Agile software development team, and will help the team reach peak productivity. As well, will play a critical role in the adoption of Scrum and other Agile development practices by the organization. This role is a mix of being a Senior Scrum Master, and Agile Coach/Delivery Lead. Experience required:
- 10+ years of experience in technology, working in Scrum Master/Agile Leadership roles and/or Agile Project Manager, with increasing responsibility.
- Proven experience organizing and facilitating project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum related meetings.
- Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, etc.).
- Experience teaching Agile in a workshop or classroom setting is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master required.
