Job title: Contract Substitute English Teacher Company: Spencerport Central School District Job description : The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for Contract Substitute English Teacher for the 2023-24 school year. This position supports Cosgrove Middle School and Spencerport High School. *Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee. Required Credentials: NYS Teacher certification: ELA Preferred Credentials: Successful prior teaching/student teaching experience; Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and N.G.L.S; Technologically proficient Appointment: The contract substitute teacher is guaranteed employment for 100% of the in-person student days during the term of the appointment, and must provide exclusive availability to the Spencerport School District to serve as a per-diem substitute teacher.
