Job title: Supervisor of Instruction for Pupil Support Services Company: Northern Valley Online Application Consortium Job description : The Old Tappan Board of Education seeks a Supervisor of Instruction for Pupil Support Services. We are a PreK-8 district with two schools ? T. Baldwin Demarest Elementary School (PreK-4) and Charles DeWolf Middle School (5-8). Qualifications: Master?s degree in special education and educational administration/leadership; demonstrated familiarity with special education law and regulations; supervisor certification or certificate of eligibility. Experience, as determined by the Board, in the areas of special education services, curriculum and instruction (ESL, G&T, and Intervention Programs) and supervision of staff. Broad knowledge of state and federal special education laws, regulations, procedures and reporting requirements. Demonstrated ability to effectively administer special education programs and to work with parents, community groups, and agencies. Strong leadership and communication skills. Classroom/Teaching experience preferred. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
