Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your sales expertise with meaningful healthcare impact as a Sales Development Representative specializing in patient acquisition and scheduling. You’ll serve as the crucial first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through their healthcare journey from initial inquiry to scheduled appointment. Working with leads generated through multiple marketing channels, you’ll have the autonomy to build relationships, answer questions about treatment options, and help connect patients with life-changing healthcare services. This role offers the perfect blend of sales achievement and healthcare mission, with significant growth potential as the practices continue to expand their patient base and service offerings.

Scope:

  • Set schedule working Monday through Friday during business hours
  • Dedicated to one client with potential to handle multiple practice locations
  • Focus primarily on new patient acquisition and scheduling
  • Potential future expansion to include EHR access for appointment management
  • Performance-based role with expectation of bonus compensation tied to results
  • Long-term position with growth opportunities within the practice

Responsibilities:

  • Call and follow up with leads from various marketing sources
  • Schedule appointments for new patients across two chiropractic practices
  • Handle inbound calls from new patient inquiries routed through IVR system
  • Answer basic questions about services and build confidence in the practice
  • Collect credit card information and process card-on-file for scheduling
  • Manage both general chiropractic leads and specialized scoliosis clinic prospects
  • Transfer non-sales related calls to appropriate staff members
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to convert leads into scheduled appointments

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills (must be clearly understood by patients)
  • Sales experience with ability to go beyond scripted conversations
  • Confidence in handling sophisticated buyers who research and ask detailed questions
  • Experience with phone-based sales and appointment setting
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with potential patients
  • Comfortable collecting payment information and processing transactions
  • Professional demeanor suitable for healthcare environment
