The mission of the Software Engineer (Full-Stack) at Cozey

We are looking for a skilled and resourceful Full-Stack Software Developer to join the rapidly expanding Cozey team. We are seeking a builder with outstanding problem solving skills, who is excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.

Being a part of the Cozey tech team is more than writing code or executing against our roadmap. We are looking for individuals who are builders, and problem solvers - who want to have a direct impact on ideating and creating software solutions that improves and streamlines Cozey’s entire backend operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Be responsible for full cycle development, including coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software, and features that streamline Cozey's backend operations
  • Assist and contribute to architectural designs and technical documentation
  • Assist and work closely with team lead to help design and build software solutions to improve operations
  • Maintain, support, and enhance our existing backend application

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 5+ years of experience working with Node JS, and related frameworks
  • 5+ years of web development experience working with javascript, typescript, React JS and Next JS
  • 1+ years' experience working with Shopify & Shopify Plus. Solid understanding of Shopify APIS (Storefront, Admin, etc)
  • Experience building large scale enterprise applications
  • Experience in DevOps, Redis, Queuing is a nice to have
  • Experience in designing and developing server-less applications using AWS Lambda is preferred
  • Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager (Parameter Store) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and building scalable, resilient systems
  • Resourceful, builder mindset, strong problem solving and learning skills
