Product Manager

Remote · USA Full-time New today

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our growing team at Alternative Payments. You’ll play a key role in building and improving our payments platform—helping us deliver high-impact features that solve real customer problems.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll be involved throughout the product lifecycle—from discovery to delivery and post-launch optimization. You’ll also help ensure the quality and usability of features by working closely with engineering, design, and QA teams.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Product Roadmap: Help shape and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and market insights.

  • Feature Ownership & QA: Collaborate with engineering on feature development. Take ownership of testing and validating releases to ensure they meet product specs, deliver value, and provide a smooth user experience.

  • Customer-Centric Thinking: Use customer feedback, usage data, and market research to inform product decisions. Partner with designers to craft intuitive and effective user experiences.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales to communicate product requirements, manage delivery timelines, and ensure successful feature rollouts.

  • Research & Innovation: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technology developments to identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Measure & Iterate: Define product success metrics. Monitor feature performance and user adoption, and use insights to make continuous improvements.

What You Will Bring (Requirements):

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management—ideally in payments, fintech, or SaaS. Experience in startups or early-stage companies.

  • Strong QA mindset: comfortable testing features and validating usability.

  • Analytical thinker with experience using data to drive decisions.

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Experience working with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with APIs, payment systems, or technical products.

  • Experience with Agile frameworks and tools like Linear, JIRA, Trello, or similar.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with payment compliance and regulations.

  • Background in UX/UI design, wireframing, or technical documentation.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work with a flexible schedule.

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • A dynamic and innovative team environment.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-growing industry

About Us:

Alternative Payments is a leading payments platform for service-based companies. Our innovative platform enables businesses to automate the entire accounts receivable process and reduce the overall expense of payment processing. We are dedicated to fostering growth and providing exceptional value to our clients.

Our Engineering & Product Values

  • Autonomy, Accountability & Ownership: "You build it, you run it." We own our work end-to-end — from build to deployment to support. We take responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs. We proactively resolve issues before they impact our partners and team. We are results-oriented, not just technically excellent.

  • Resiliency & Reliability: "Build for failure, recover with confidence." Our systems are designed to fail gracefully and recover quickly. Our systems are always available 24/7, 365 days a year — availability is fundamental to everything we build. Our security and scalability are not afterthoughts — they are included in everything we do. We continuously test, monitor, and iterate to improve system performance.

  • Open Communication: “Best products are built from honest and transparent conversations."

We are radically transparent and share successes and failures openly.

We provide positive and negative feedback to our colleagues and seek input from others.

We collaborate across teams within engineering and outside of engineering.
