Mgr Regional Sales III

The Mgr Regional Sales III will lead commercial resources (Sales, Sales Admin, Product, Production, Engineering, Lift Solutions, and Product Support) to support retail sales and maximize opportunities by building strong, long-term customer relationships. This includes understanding customer needs across their organization, aligning with their projects, and developing strategic solutions that position the company as a trusted partner. By engaging across the customer enterprise, the role drives sales opportunities and enhances performance within the assigned region. The Mgr Regional Sales III will assess both micro and macro business impacts, develop growth strategies, and manage product sales across assigned dealers and accounts. Responsibilities include forecasting, business planning, leading operational meetings, and ensuring follow-through on key priorities. This role also develops dealer networks and key accounts, serving as the face of the company with professionalism and integrity, and is accountable for maintaining a profitable territory and achieving company sales goals. Required Skills/Abilities: Exemplary leadership, communication, negotiating, project management, and customer empathy skills are required. A successful person in this role will have strong leadership characteristics and will lead (non-direct supervisory) internal and external resources to ensure a positive outcome for the company and our customers. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing and 5-8 years’ experience or
  • Equivalent experience in off/highway construction equipment and related fields dealing directly with equipment distributors, owners and users primarily in a product or customer support capacity

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with off-highway/construction equipment a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of being on a job site or production factory environment, heat, cold, wet, dry, etc. for brief periods of time.
  • May be required to stand, reach, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • May require lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Health and Safety:

  • Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Perform job functions in a safe manner.
  • Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed both in the facility and during customer visits.
  • Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.
  • Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.
  • Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.

Work Environment:

  • Remote opportunity provided you live in one of the following states: AL, AR, CA, MO, OH, PA, VA, WI
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally via all forms (airline, auto, taxi, shuttle services, etc).
  • Ability to wear all standard forms of PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, & ear protection.
  • Ability to climb and access all areas of Manitowoc equipment.
