Risk Manager II, Perfect Order Experience - Remote Opportunity

Join our innovative team and thrive in a culture of collaboration and excellence! We're seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager II to drive success in our Perfect Order Experience team. As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $66,800 - $142,800 per year, depending on location and experience.

As a Risk Manager II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that buyers receive authentic products in the condition and with the functionality they expect. You will design and implement policies, tools, and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon, while balancing the need to protect buyer trust with the need to avoid harming good selling partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing risk assessments for new products and existing processes to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Implementing risk mitigation strategies and control mechanisms to prevent fraud, abuse, and operational risks
  • Supporting risk reporting, oversight, and escalation mechanisms to ensure key risks are addressed
  • Conducting post-launch reviews to capture new risk scenarios and eliminate defects
  • Auditing and analyzing risk metrics to identify emerging risks and monitor controls
  • Preparing and delivering business reviews to management regarding emerging risks and control performance

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in risk program management, legal, governance, audit, consulting, or analyst equivalent
  • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and prioritization
  • Excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills and the ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience defining program requirements using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Bachelor's degree or professional risk certification, or similar risk credentials
  • Experience with SQL and Excel
  • Knowledge of retail and social media ecosystems
