Pharmacy Technician - Sam's Club (Part-Time Opportunity)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our members. You will be responsible for processing prescriptions, maintaining the pharmacy area, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process member purchases and operate a cash register and related hardware
  • Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies
  • Monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process
  • Promote and maintain the Pharmacy's professional reputation and provide patients/members with pharmacy products and services
  • Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and fill prescriptions accurately
  • Provide patient/member service in the Pharmacy area and assist with purchase decisions
  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to complete work assignments and priorities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
