Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with indoor and outdoor recreation activities, such as arts and crafts, games, sports, and social events
- Provide support and encouragement to participants, promoting enthusiasm and creating positive experiences
- Assist with organizing socials, tournaments, dances, festivals, camping trips, and special events
- Prepare program materials, announcements, and bulletins to promote activities
- Provide personal care and support to participants, including feeding, bathroom needs, and lifting, as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary - we provide training and support
- Ability to speak and write effectively, and establish positive relationships with participants and colleagues
- Basic first aid knowledge and ability to demonstrate patience, energy, and enthusiasm
- Must be at least 18 years old and pass a physical exam, background check, and tuberculosis screening test
