First/Second Grade Teaching Assistant - Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic First/Second Grade Teaching Assistant to join our team at Workwarp! As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in achieving academic standards and behavioral objectives. You will work closely with students to help them achieve success at their academic level and assist in general classroom activities. - Implement teacher lesson plans and provide individual and group instruction to students
- Assess student progress, evaluate work, and provide feedback
- Assist in creating a Nature-Based learning environment and support students with special needs
- Develop and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
- Participate in professional development activities and training
- Perform various non-instructional duties, such as playground supervision, safety duty, and classroom maintenance
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher
- Ability to maintain an orderly and safe learning environment
- Physical ability to move about the classroom and playground
- Lifting capacity of 30 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
