We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to drive our scientific transformation in the Talent Acquisition (TA) space. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a ground-up modification of our insights capabilities, from data entry to complex business transformations and end-user reporting.

In this role, you will design and develop innovative solutions, test and experiment with new ideas, and drive consistency and success. The ideal candidate is an independent Data Scientist who can source, purify, analyze, refine, optimize, model, present, automate, and document our business data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, software developers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide scientific support
  • Utilize coding skills to analyze complex datasets and design, develop, and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems
  • Build flexible, efficient, and automated data cycles to facilitate client-facing reporting
  • Automate TA cycles to streamline business operations
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to business clients and leadership

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science)
  • 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and methods
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science)
  • Experience in a machine learning or data scientist role with a large technology company
