About the Role:

HighLevel Inc. is looking for a SDET III with 5-6 years of experience to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our products. We are seeking engineers who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoy problem-solving, and stay updated with the latest models and solutions. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge performance testing strategies and contribute to the success of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement performance, scalability, and reliability testing strategies
  • Capture and analyze key performance metrics to identify bottlenecks
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance
  • Develop test strategies based on customer behavior to ensure high-performing applications
  • Automate the capturing of performance metrics and generate performance trend reports
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to optimize frontend and API performance
  • Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues using logs and monitoring tools
  • Research, evaluate, and conduct PoCs for new tools and solutions
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of applications and services

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Performance, Reliability, and Scalability testing
  • Strong skills in capturing, analyzing, and optimizing performance metrics
  • Expertise in performance testing tools such as Locust, Gatling, k6, etc.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and setting up performance testing environments
  • Knowledge of CI/CD deployments and integrating performance testing into pipelines
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of JVM monitoring, thread analysis, and RESTful services
  • Experience in optimizing frontend performance and API performance
  • Ability to deploy applications in Kubernetes and troubleshoot environment issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot customer issues effectively
