Company Description Suzuki Manufacturing of America Corporation (SMAC), founded in 2001 and based in Rome, Georgia, is Suzuki’s All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) manufacturing facility. For over two decades, all Suzuki adult KingQuad ATVs have been manufactured at this state-of-the-art location. These ATVs are sold in the United States, Canada, and nearly 25 other countries worldwide. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rome, GA for a Safety and Environmental Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety programs, conducting safety training, and performing accident investigations. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and promoting occupational health measures within the facility. Qualifications

  • Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
  • Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Proficiency in Safety Training and Accident Investigation
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Certifications in EHS or related fields are advantageous
