A Day in the Life of a Lead Pharmacy Technician
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting the front-end pharmacy technician team and assisting with data entry, customer service, and processing tasks. Your day will be filled with a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
- Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
- Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
- Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we encourage candidates with the following skills and experience to apply:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification

Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: $18.50 Maximum: $34.60 Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
