Inside Sales Associate - Hybrid/Tempe
Grainger is a leading distributor of industrial supplies, and they are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join their team. The role involves participating in a training program, managing a book of business, and achieving sales goals through relationship building and strategic sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Achieve your sales goal by maximizing customer time and your own
- Manage a book of business and build customer relationships to better understand their needs and remain responsive to changing customer goals
- Source and prioritize new sales opportunities through outbound phone calls and email
- Adapt your communication approach by customer to best find solutions and solve their challenges
- Meet monthly performance metrics and demonstrate perseverance to overcome customer concerns and close sales opportunities
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort spending 50% or more of the day working with customers over the phone
- College degree preferred
- Experience with a customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce, is a plus
