Job Purpose

The Head of Acquisition is responsible for defining and executing the company’s customer acquisition strategy to drive sustainable growth. This role leads the development and optimisation of acquisition channels, manages external partners and suppliers, and ensures efficient budget allocation to maximise return on investment. Working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, analytics, and CRM, the Head of Acquisition will use data-driven insights to scale performance, identify new growth opportunities, and deliver against ambitious commercial targets.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Own and lead the company-wide acquisition strategy, defining channel mix, budget allocation, and long-term growth plans to drive sustainable customer acquisition.
  • Set and manage acquisition targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks aligned with company commercial objectives and growth forecasts.
  • Build, Lead, mentor, and develop the acquisition team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture.
  • Manage and optimise relationships with external partners, suppliers, networks, and agencies, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and continuous optimisation.
  • Oversee performance across all acquisition channels, monitoring CAC, ROI, traffic quality, LTV, and channel profitability to ensure efficient scaling.
  • Drive a culture of continuous testing, experimentation, and optimisation across all acquisition activities to maximise efficiency and growth.
  • Own and manage the acquisition budget, ensuring effective allocation and strong return on investment.
  • Deliver strategic performance reporting to senior leadership, providing clear insights, trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across marketing, promotions, product, analytics, compliance, and CRM & Personalisation to ensure acquisition strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and launch new acquisition channels, partnerships, and growth opportunities to expand market reach and drive long-term scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience in player acquisition or performance marketing, ideally within the iGaming industry.
  • Proven experience leading acquisition strategy and managing performance marketing channels at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and external partners/agencies.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of driving measurable growth and optimising acquisition performance.
  • Highly organised, strategic, and results-driven with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience interpreting complex performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
