Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will be accountable for the following core duties:

• Month‑End Close Management: Own the full month‑end close cycle, including the audit of prepaid expenses, accruals, and general ledger entries to ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Journal Entry Preparation: Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, prepare adjusting entries, and support the preparation of financial statement footnotes.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Generate monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses (budget vs. actual), and trend reports that provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify manual, repetitive tasks and lead initiatives to automate them using tools such as Excel macros, VBA, or RPA platforms, thereby increasing accuracy and reducing cycle time.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales & Planning, Treasury, Travel & Expense, Procurement, Tax, and regional accounting teams to resolve accounting issues, support internal audits, and ensure consistent reporting standards.
• Compliance & Controls: Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ad‑Hoc Projects: Contribute to special projects such as system implementations, data migrations, and financial modeling that support strategic initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following foundational qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public‑accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles; CPA certification or progress toward CPA is highly preferred.
