Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Analytic Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our organizational data and programming infrastructure for Hedis. This position will be a contract, Full-Time, and Remote. What You’ll Do Design and implement efficient and reliable data pipelines and workflows across diverse systems feeding Hedis Engines for regulatory reporting. Develop ETL and data integration pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Informatica (preferred) Create and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau (Power BI preferred) Work with on-prem databases such as Oracle, Teradata, and DB2 Leverage cloud platforms (GCP and Azure) and their respective data services for data engineering solutions Develop fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable data-related code Translate requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions for healthcare systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Utilize deep SQL and Unix expertise to support data engineering processes What You'll Need Required: 3 years of experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Spark, GCP Tools, Databricks, PySpark) 3 years of experience building ETL and data integration pipelines in Python/PySpark; knowledge of Informatica is a plus 3 years of experience with reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau (Power BI preferred) 3 years of experience working with on-prem databases (Oracle, Teradata, DB2) 3 years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and their respective data services 3 years of deep SQL experience and Unix experience 3 years of experience designing data solutions for healthcare systems; Hedis experience is a big plus 3 years of experience translating requirements into technical designs Proven ability to work with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Preferred: Healthcare industry experience, particularly with Hedis data reporting Experience designing advanced data engineering solutions using cloud-based platforms and reporting tools Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.
