[Remote] Head of Amazon & Marketplace
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. STERRY is a dynamic growth marketing agency focused on crowdfunding and e-commerce success. They are seeking a Head of Amazon & Marketplace to own the company's presence and revenue performance across third-party marketplaces, primarily Amazon, and to manage strategy, operations, profitability, and growth of all marketplace channels.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the marketplace channel strategy aligned with overall business goals
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and lead expansion into new platforms
- Own revenue and margin targets for all marketplace channels
- Manage Seller Central / Vendor Central account health and performance metrics
- Oversee product listings, A+ content, and brand store
- Lead Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) and manage ad spend/ROAS
- Handle FBA logistics, replenishment planning, and IPI score management
- Own listing optimization (titles, bullets, descriptions, keywords, images)
- Coordinate with marketing/creative teams for content production
- Manage pricing strategy including competitive repricing
- Manage marketplace P&L — track fees, ad spend, COGS, and net margin
- Report on key metrics: revenue, conversion rate, ACOS/TACOS, BSR, Buy Box %
- Identify and resolve profitability leaks (returns, chargebacks, fee structures)
- Manage a small team (marketplace specialist, content coordinator, ads analyst)
- Collaborate with supply chain for inventory forecasting
- Work with finance on reconciliation and marketplace payouts
Skills
- Experienced in managing third-party marketplaces, primarily Amazon
- Proven track record of defining and executing marketplace channel strategies
- Ability to identify new marketplace opportunities and lead expansion into new platforms
- Experience owning revenue and margin targets for marketplace channels
- Proficient in managing Seller Central / Vendor Central account health and performance metrics
- Experience overseeing product listings, A+ content, and brand store management
