[Remote] Senior Electrical Project Manager – Data Center (Nationwide Travel)

ITP (International Talent Partnership) is partnering with a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical construction services. They are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical scope of a large-scale data center project, managing all phases of project delivery while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of electrical project management for large-scale construction projects, with a focus on data center and mission-critical work
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost control to ensure successful financial outcomes
  • Manage complex electrical systems, including power distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and associated infrastructure
  • Coordinate closely with clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Lead project meetings, reporting, and communication with key stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including scope gaps, schedule delays, and cost impacts
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures
  • Drive project profitability and contribute to overall business performance
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project managers, engineers, and field teams
  • Support the handover process through commissioning and project closeout

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
  • Strong background working for an electrical contractor or MEP contractor is required
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects; data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and project delivery methods
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams on complex projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to travel nationwide on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software tools
  • Data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
