[Remote] Commercial Account Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Illumio is the leader in ransomware and breach containment, redefining how organizations contain cyberattacks and enable operational resilience. As a Commercial Account Representative, you will be a key contributor to Illumio's commercial sales growth, building relationships with mid-market clients and exceeding sales quotas while driving strategic initiatives aligned with the company's cybersecurity mission.
Responsibilities
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory
- Develop and execute a territory plan with a target prospect list and regional sales strategy
- Build and nurture an ecosystem of partner sellers and SEs who are excited about Illumio and actively selling with you
- Partner with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline and qualify opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and partners
- Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business needs and aligning Illumio’s solutions to their IT roadmap
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive or equivalent role within the IT industry
- Deliver compelling 'teaching conversations' that are well tailored to each prospect's situation
- Able to engage with urgency and capitalizing on all potential channels to sell Illumio
- Proven success in exceeding revenue goals and new customer acquisition
- Experience selling with partners and managing a network of partner sellers
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market and Zero Trust principles
- Executive-level relationship management and CRM hygiene
- Ability to work in a matrixed support organization using virtual specialists
- Willingness to travel 20–50% depending on business needs
- Successful track record of successful selling to the C-suite (all lines of business) with a strong rolodex of contacts in region
- Experience in a fast-paced company with the ability to adapt as needed
