[Remote] Regional Sales Director - North MidAtlantic

They are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a sales team, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth while maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring adherence to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and oversee a sales team of 4–6 Area Managers in collaboration with HR, CCO, and Clinical
  • Develop and implement onboarding and ongoing professional development programs, including performance reviews, values, and behavioral expectations
  • Set individual and team sales goals aligned with company objectives and regularly review progress to ensure achievement or exceedance of targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and business development initiatives to drive revenue growth
  • Identify high-potential markets and targets using Acuity, Definitive Health, and other data modalities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales efforts align with company-wide goals and strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and national accounts
  • Partner with the Senior National Accounts Director to identify and execute GPO and contract opportunities
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales performance
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting to leadership on agreed-upon timelines
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to company guidelines, industry regulations, and ethical standards

Skills

  • BS/BA in related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in wound care field with 1-3 years of progressive responsible positions
  • 1-3 years in Sales leadership roles
  • Experience with skin substitutes preferred
  • Prefer 3-4 years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics of the healthcare industry
  • Previous experience in startup and medium sized companies
